Manchester United's pass to the Europa League final takes a hard-fought struggle. 'Red Devils' hassles with Celta Vigo

MU escaped with a 1-1 draw against Celta at Old Trafford on Thursday 11 May 2017, in the second leg semi-final. The score was enough to secure the final ticket after Manchester United won 1-0 in the first leg.

Marouane Fellaini brought MU first ahead in the 17th minute. But then Celta gradually took control of the game and pressed it vigorously.

Celta just got the equalizing goal in the 85th minute through Facundo Roncaglia. But MU's dream to the finals could be dashed, given the many opportunities Celta earned.

UEFA noted Celta releasing 17 experiments, six of which are right on target. While MU has 10 attempts, with four leading to the goal.

Lucky for MU, final settlement Celta not okay so a number of net chances failed to convert a goal. The match itself was colored by two red cards, each for Eric Bailly and Roncaglia following the commotion in the field.

Ander Herrera admits the game is very difficult, regrets the failure to bring better provisions than the first leg. But with his team now in the final, Herrera insists will be all-out for the champions for the sake of trophies and Champions League tickets.

"It was a crazy game, we played better in the first leg and should have had a better result at the moment, tonight we suffered," he told BT Sport.

"But we're in the final, we've struggled to achieve it.You can not win the semifinals easily, or relax. We're in the final, and that's what counts."

"We've been through a lot of games, we know that in the league it's almost impossible to qualify for the Champions League, so we will make every effort," he added.
